Best Mac personal finance app for me
I started using See Finance over four years ago - after Quicken abandonded Mac users. This proved to be exactly what I needed for tracking investments and general finance. It imported my data better than all other Mac finance apps at the time - and I think I tried them all. It is able to download from all my financial institutions, and is very stable. I’ve gone back and tried the new Quicken 2015 for Mac and although not bad (I would have stayed with Quicken if they had this version 4 years ago), I like See Finance better. It is great for viewing your entire portfolio at a glance.
I’m hoping that now that See Finance is App store compatible with sandboxing, we’ll start to see some feature enhancements. My suggestions are: 1) ROI% calculation column in the Portfolio view (this is the one feature I still miss from Quicken 2007) 2) Investment allocation breakdown 3) Associated IOS app with portfolio tracking
